Accurate target proofs are absolutely essential:   PDS contract proofs are witness to what is possible and what you should expect from the press on which your job is to be printed.  What you see in your proofs, you should expect your commercial printer to match.

In other words, these proof prints are the standard against which the printer's work should be judged.

For proofs to act as reliable aim points,  they need to accurately emulate the output from the press on which the job will be ultimately printed.

To achieve this, PDS prepare proofs that 'target' the output potential of that particular press.

PDS proofs are produced on a state-of-the-art digital proofer/RIP system.  They are printed on either A4+ or A3+ paper and prints come with all essential colour patches, dual grey scales plus full details of the conversion.

Tight calibration and profiling of PDS's proofing system validates that what you see in your proof print is accurate and achievable by the press.

Not only is the proofing equipment precisely linearised, but additionally, the range of proof print papers which are designed to match the type of paper the job is to be printed on have all been carefully profiled.

To repeat,  PDS proofs are witness to what you should reasonably expect from the press on which your job is to be printed.
